When months of planning are summed up by a "let's elope..." because the health of my bride's father is far more important than to take a chance with Covid and the traveling from WV - It was a tough decision - not only all the planning was not completed but also emotionally and financially, can create small setbacks. But, like a good couple of extraordinary people, their love kept them strong through making such decision - and still eloped... and came to The Crystal Coast since it was planned to spend that week here in Eastern NC Paradise.
Their wedding would have been today 10.12.21 - But, instead two weeks ago it was decided that being the best choice on the cancellation - they opted for a post-elopement session.
It was such a good time - the weather could not have been better, cool and cloudy - the light was heaven sent and I created a very memorable session for Syd and Cody.
There is a light that never goes out, clear example is that love IS NOT Cancelled. There are a one and million ways to celebrate love - and to honor the union of two souls who love infinitely in good spirits. Because we believe in the possible and in the power of YEAHSSSSS!!!!
Sydney and Cody had a great time - smiles, laughs along with good walking on Front St in Beaufort - While we said "HI" to some of our usual neighbors who allow me to come and use their yards and beautiful historical porches and such while they know these are important captures for these couples.
I enjoyed spending time with them and creating these memories for their photo album and wall art for their home.
