Where to begin...
Okay! Last summer - a family session was scheduled by the groom's parents - but, the twist was that also, Blake will be giving Sam a ring asking her to marry him...
And then - a real engagement session on the beach, followed that same week.
We briefly talked about their plans to just elope - Sam and Blake are a simple couple... I was just happy to be part of that moment for them while they were in Pine Knoll Shores, NC for a week's vacation...
Fast forward a few weeks later, Blake's mom contacted me and well, we celebrated a wedding this March at the MacGregor Downs in Cary, NC
The day was simple, classic, and fun - truly revealed their style in all senses!
Her colors were vibrant, her florals had a mix of pinks, lavenders, and yellows with greens including garden roses, gerbera, yellow and white daisies, as well as other stock flowers. Flowers that the bride loved in the color scheme for spring! Groom and groomsmen wore white ranunculus for boutonnieres.
Their ceremony was held in the main room where the club's crest sits on top of the mantle, it was adorned in romantic bloom and filler with candles throughout.
The bridal party was formed by siblings and Blake's dad as his best man!
Meals were prepared by the country club and in a buffet style all guests enjoyed salads and choices of delicious main entrées.
At the bar - honoring their puppies - The two drinks designed with Remi and Bentley's name - The Painkiller & Moscow Mule - Yum!
A cake and a dessert table [from Sugar Euphoria] were among the delicious treats for the day.
After the speeches and the dances, Mr & Mrs. Ballance exited to the sparkles and drove away into the night!
