Michelle + Mario | Arizona Weddings | Queen Creek, AZ | #MyPLUSoneForever

My heart could not possibly be happier to have been chosen to photograph my sister-cousin's wedding to Mario in Arizona this March - I have waited for these for a long-long time... and finally it crystalized. So, in a nutshell the Universe prepared these two sweet humans to reunite and create a life under Godly love.

In the words of Michelle...

"7 months ago our prayers and our families prayers were answered when God brought us together.

That night we talked and danced the night away and it felt like we were the only ones in the room, I knew that you were special.

I met your beautiful daughter, Meleana and your family that night and they instantly felt like family.

Once I got to know you and your heart, your love of The Lord, your love for your family, our kids, the way you love people, and the way you love me…I knew that I could not imagine life without you.

You have shown me the type of love that I could not ever have dreamed was possible, you uplift me, you support me through my weak moments, you always have me laughing, you have been so intentional in getting to know my heart, my kids, and being loved by you is beyond magical.

You are the most kindest, loving, funniest, authentic, honest, hard working, and Godly man I have ever met.

I cannot wait to see what God has planned for us.

I love you with all my heart Mario Delgado and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you Mi Hermoshooo!!!❤️"

In the words of Mario...

"7 months ago you walked into the wedding venue where I was officiating and rocked my world! Since the first day I met you and jokingly introduced you as my plus one… I knew you were the one!

All my life I have prayed for someone like you… but I can truly say everything I prayed for and dreamt of God went above and beyond by bringing you and the kids into my life!

This isn’t just an answered prayer or a dream come true but a miracle that ONLY GOD could of done! ALL GLORY & PRAISE TO GOD 🙌🏽

You are the most beautiful, caring, patient & loving person I have ever met!

You point me to Jesus by your actions and the grace and love you show me everyday! I thank God for you everyday hermosha!

You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and the kids and I want you to be my plus one forever…

I can’t wait to marry you and make you my wife! #SheSaidYES Let’s GOOOOO!!!!!

Needless to say we had a great wedding week... All the greatest things that can happen DID!

All started with a Dodger's Spring Game on Thursday to celebrate their bachelor & bachelorette parties, followed by a casual dinner catered by Maggiano's in Scottsdale [in a private home] with the many friends and family from close and afar!

A rehearsal at the wedding/reception sites on Friday followed by an intimate dinner prepared by the groom's mom - Elsa, who made a traditional Mexican pozole (posole) which is a rich, brothy soup made with pork, hominy, and red chiles. Everyone piled their bowl with toppings like shredded cabbage, radishes, cilantro, lime, and avocado - Which was simply spectacular!

On Saturday, game on! Preparations started at 8am and by 3 pm we were walking down the aisle, with a reveal, speeches and special prayers by close friends and vows shared by the couple and their children

Their colors, classic navy blues, accents of blush and much Ivory. Florals designed by family, Michelle opted to have beautiful florals from Ling's and they just created the most perfect vibe. All was very simple and elegant.

Mario wore special shoes and tailored suit as well - Creating a very classic 1940s vibe.

The groom surprise his groomsmen by having a barber on site [old school] Each one of them enjoy a good clean trim and a classic straight blade shave as well.

They both transferred their vows the morning of, in specially designed books that will be kept as heirlooms.

Michelle surprised Mario with a beautiful Movado watch, with script on its back... Also, she added to the surprise a Cigar Camper/Bar - They enjoy cigars and this was a beautiful detail!

Dinner included, tacos al pastor, salad and other entrées along with a dessert bar made by groom's aunt.

About 400 guests were invited and it was a big party needless to say - Fun celebration -

At the end of the evening - the couple celebrated with a toast, their wish was to not interrupt the flow of the evening with the many traditional activities, all was focused on fun and fellowship...
