When love allowed you to be free spirited - Your kindness and your amazing ability to see past what is presented, love allows that!
Two people, that have met and have supported while carrying each other, no matter the circumstances... Love completed all that is organically meant to be.
There are no other words to express and explain the way that Mark and Cheryl's love is about!
Cheryl is one of the hardest working women I have had the pleasure to meet this 2023 season, with a heart of gold and a goddess vibe, you will see as you scroll some of the images captured while we celebrated their wedding day on a Friday in April 21st, 2023 at the Butterfly Kisses Pavilion, which instantly fit the vision for both - They wanted something that carried minimal focus on what is considered mundane and yet to others so important... But, like beauty... It is all in the eye of the beholder... They cared about the little things - I mean, they had M&Ms with their face and their puppy's face on them with the colors for the wedding - How sweet is that!
Mark is a financial advisor and he values the present and the most minimalistic way of enjoying life. They are both simply easy going and sweet - Their wedding party was formed by their family [ siblings ] - Cheryl comes from a very unique background, always surrounded by love and commitment to good. It only makes sense that all was planned so perfectly and the date was just a happy flowing day.
It was a pleasure to have worked with Katrina, the planner for the venue - She just sweetly looked after the bride, groom and their families all day. Their BKP team was amazing, all day through!
Catering was provided by Chef Smoke with The flame and entertainment by BTA entertainment made it all fun!
The venue, a fun based placed, BKP is located in Newport/Havelock, NC off the US 70 towards Morehead City, NC - This venue has a very shabby chic, yet vintage feel to it... You will never know this being a venue - Seemed, as a location to truly getaway.
With a guest count of 60 - Cheryl and Mark celebrated the day with a ceremony officiated by Mark's brother and dances that included Cheryl's brother in law and Mark's Mother [ Susan - We just loved her!] Traditionally - Bouquets were tossed as well as garters and games were played to keep all guests engaged and entertained.
At the end of the night, the newlyweds shared a private dance, so Rachel and I took the chance to create something for our newlyweds to remember, including the themed colors for the day. The grand walk off was joyed by the sparkler exit and the weekend followed with a Saturday Brunch and a later dinner on Saturday at Mark's home where he grew up in New Bern, NC
Enjoy these captures and we are so grateful to have been chosen my this sweet and extraordinary duo!
