This was one great elopement this season... A true destination wedding it was... They had a great celebration for their ceremony during the day followed by an intimate brunch at The Islander in Emerald Island, NC
Preparations in the morning, at father of groom's home on Coast Guard Road and all included - hair.. make up and all the little details. The bride was at an Airbnb a couple of houses down from John's.
Alysson chose to have wooden florals opposed to natural, she wanted to hold them as keepsakes, after the wedding. Her colors were sages, grays and light corals.
Their kids took part of the celebrations and we had a great time photographing them. Before their first look they held hands while Alyssa's step mom read a bible verse for both. After, a first look between Alyssa and John occurred, and it was the cutest and sweetest... They keep telling each-other how much they loved and missed one another - They had not seen each-other in over 12hrs.
Some pictures followed, we were not sure about the weather - Suddenly, it was the brightest day yet!
Their ceremony took place at The Islander and a Brunch type meal followed the formal portraits.
At Sunset we reunited at the beach and we had a very amazing time, along with Alyssa's bestest friend and John's mom. Their exit was fun and utterly unconventional, at sunset - Fiberoptic wands... You can see by the pictures it was the best time for them!! Enjoy!
