Sarah + Tom | Atlantic Beach/Beaufort, NC | Beach + Nautical Engagement Session | North Carolina Wed

Sarah and Tom will be celebrating their wedding this Spring in Raleigh, NC at a beautiful historic home. The inspiration behind the engagement session - We love to travel and most of all we love to make sure we have plenty of work when we do, we schedule our session for a Monday, which it was perfect to close our weekend from weddings and to start our week of shoots in the eastern NC area in November. Tom proposed in June - The plan to take Sarah on a stroll on a charter in Atlantic Beach, NC - he surprised her and proposed - champagne and charcuterie board into the sunset! We had planned to re-enact - the trip - also, we decided to split our session - We spent the whole day practically with them.

We had a beautiful sunrise session by the pier in Oceanana in a 56 degree weather [ they are troopers] - After the same morning - We went to Beaufort. NC and took the chance to take a few images while walking around historic downtown. We took a little break and met again after lunch and we sailed in the same exact vessel was chartered [ Savanna Leigh ] off Atlantic Beach toward Taylor's creek, we were visited by a pod of dolphins and the clouds gave us a little break and the sunset was a bit visible for a few shots, before heading to shore. Sarah wears a bracelet that has the exact coordinates of the spot in which Tom proposed - And her gorgeous ring has a family history as well.
