One of our all time favorite venues in the Crystal Coast - overlooking the sound on the Neuse River in Havelock, NC

This styled editorial-project was designed by Taylor with Whimsically Wed along with Whitney from W Designs. We wanted to draw inspirations from the soft and timeless feel of this beautiful venue - We just felt that the light blue colors, along with some pastels and greens projected the palette in mind.

Modern aspects like a donuts-bar and a sign found by the counter at bar which toned in with contrasts of the colored glasses in the background

The most dominant color used were the light blue accents to celebrate the arrival of the Summer season.

The floral talents of Marianne - [venue owner] - declared all her creativity she devotes for her clients, as venue offers the floral-design-services to their couples - She made all the pieces found on tables and a robust and bold bouquet for our bride-model.

These made such a beautiful statement, you will find fascinating accents in the green of artichokes for the table top as well as on the swing out in the front of pavilion.

We wanted a very editorial look for the shoot so we could not only showcase the details but to highlight the most beautiful spots found in the venue along with all the complimentary romantic aspects for a magical day!
